Wrestlemania 11 Review

The grandest stage of em all! With a football player in the main event. Still, it's WRESTLEMANIA!

The Allied Powers (Lex Luger and The British Bulldog) defeated The Blu Brothers (Jacob and Eli) (w/Uncle Zebekiah) (6:34)
Bulldog pinned one of the Blu Brothers with a roll-up.

Not the best start to a night that gets worse.

The 1-2-3 Kid made a run-in after the match to help Ramon fight off Jarrett and the Roadie.

Uh...at least it was short.

Owen Hart and Yokozuna defeated The Smokin' Gunns (Billy and Bart) to win the WWF Tag Team Championship (9:42)

Uh...at least it was less than 10 minutes.

Bret Hart defeated Bob Backlund (w/Roddy Piper as Special Guest Referee) in an "I Quit" Match (9:34)
Backlund said something unintelligible into the microphone while in the Crossface Chickenwing. Piper interpreted this as a submission and awarded the bout to Hart.

The same stipulation as their **** match less than half a year earlier and this one was mediocre (otherwise known as "good" for this show)

Diesel (w/Pamela Anderson) defeated Shawn Michaels (w/Sid and Jenny McCarthy) to retain the WWF Championship (20:35)
Diesel pinned Michaels after a Jacknife Powerbomb.
***1/2
WHOO-HOO! We have broken ***! Actually a decent match, but who cares really?

The best celebrity match ever. But thats like saying it was the least painful kick to the groin you have ever had.

~ One of the worst WMs ever. The best match was only ***1/4. And it had Jonathan Taylor Thomas. NEED I SAY MORE?
