Ahmed Johnson defeated Buddy Landel (w/Dean Douglas) (0:42)
Johnson pinned Landel after the Pearl River Plunge.
Landel was a substitute for Douglas, who claimed that he could not compete due to a back injury. He introduced Landel (his "graduate student") as his replacement.
Jerry Lawler interviewed Johnson at ringside after his victory. Jeff Jarrett, who was a guest commentator for the bout, attacked Johnson from behind with his gold record after he called Jarrett an "Achy Breaky wannabe".

Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Henry Godwinn (w/Hillbilly Jim as special guest referee) in a Arkansas Hog Pen match (8:58)
Helmsley won by backdropping Godwinn into the hog pen.

Diesel was disqualified for shoving the referee after powerbombing Owen repeatedely.

The Undertaker defeated King Mabel (w/Sir Mo) in a Casket match (6:11)
Undertaker won after chokeslamming Mabel then putting both him and Mo in the casket and closing the lid.

It was at least short.

Bret Hart defeated The British Bulldog (w/Jim Cornette and Diana Smith) to retain the WWF Championship (21:09)
Bret pinned Smith with a La Majistral cradle.

I like this match more than the SummerSlam 1992 match (****1/4). I always seem to like the lesser known rematch better than the classic 1st encounter (Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect, SummerSlam 1991= ****1/4. The rematch at King of the Ring 1993 = ****1/2. The HBK vs. Ramon ladder matches, and this one.) This was the second time I had ever seen blood in a match (Piper vs. Hart, WM8).

~ Only see this show for Hart vs. Smith. Unless you like pig shit. Then this was your show.
