In Your House XVI: Canadian Stampede Review

Pound for pound this is one of the best shows out there.

Mankind fought Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Chyna) to a double count-out (13:14)
Both men were counted out as they brawled outside the ring.
?
AHH! Still never seen this match and I really want to (if you can’t tell by that noise I made/typed)

The Great Sasuke defeated TAKA Michinoku (10:00)
Sasuke pinned Michinoku after a Tiger Suplex.
***3/4
Really great match. You never really saw lightheavyweight stuff like this again in the WWF (excluding their rematch the next night).

The Undertaker defeated Vader (w/Paul Bearer) to retain the WWF Championship (12:39)
Undertaker pinned Vader after a Tombstone Piledriver.
***1/2
Wow was this surprising. Vader took Ahmed Johnson’s place and thank God he did cause this was kick ass for these guys.

Before the main event, the Dixie Chicks performed "O Canada".
The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, and Brian Pillman) defeated Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Goldust, and The Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal) (24:31)
Owen pinned Austin with a roll-up as Austin was distracted by several of the Hart brothers at ringside.
****1/4
I think a lot of people rate this match higher than me. The crowd heat was spectacular and the match itself was great, but I don’t think it’s a classic.

~ AWESOME SHOW! Haven’t seen the 1st match but I've heard good things and the rest of the card was superb
