1999 Match of the Year

1. The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff) defeated Edge and Christian in a Ladder match (16:30)
Jeff grabbed the suspended sack of money to win the match.
This was the finals of the "Terri Invitational" where the winners won the managerial services of Terri.

2. Triple H defeated The Rock, Mankind, Kane, The Big Show and The British Bulldog in a Six-Pack Challenge to win the WWF Championship (20:28)
Triple H pinned Rock after a Pedigree to win the vacant title.
The original referee was Jim Korderas, but the striking referee's came down and attacked him, so Steve Austin took over as referee.
The Undertaker was originally suppose to be in the match and was even featured on the promotional poster, but was unable to compete due to nagging injuries. He also was going through a divorce at this time with his first wife, Jodie Lynn, so he also had several legal matters to deal with. The British Bulldog replaced The Undertaker.

3. The Rock defeated Mankind in an "I Quit" match to win the WWF Championship (21:46)
Rock won after placing the microphone by Mankind's mouth and letting the words "I quit" (taken from a previous Mankind promo) play out on the speakers.

Test defeated Shane McMahon in a "Love-Her-or-Leave-Her match" (12:04)
Test pinned McMahon after a top rope elbow drop
The Mean Street Posse came down to the ring to help Shane, but Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson held them back.
By winning this match Test earned the right to date Stephanie McMahon.

WWF Champion Mankind fought The Rock to a no-contest in a Last Man Standing match (21:54)
The match was declared a draw after both men simultaneously hit each other with steel chairs and couldn't get up before the 10 count.

The Rock won by climbing the ladder and grabbing the title.
The Big Show interfered in this match by chokeslamming mankind off of the ladder.

Austin pinned Rock after a Stone Cold Stunner.
