The Intercontinental title match was originally scheduled to be Shawn Michaels vs. Sid, but 2 weeks before the event, the match was changed (due to "popular demand" according to on-screen president Gorilla Monsoon).

Bret pinned Smith with a La Majistral cradle.

3. Shawn Michaels defeated Jeff Jarrett (w/The Roadie) to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (20:01)
Michaels pinned Jarrett after Roadie accidentally tripped Jarrett and Michael hit the Sweet Chin Music.

Pretty easy choices. I mean, they were the only **** matches of this year in the WWF.
