Armageddon 1999 Review

Big Bossman competing for the WWF title, SMELL THE BUY RATE!

The Acolytes (Bradshaw and Faarooq) won a Tag team battle royal (10:54)
Also in the match were: The Godfather and Mark Henry, The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher), Edge and Christian, The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff), The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von), The Mean Street Posse (Pete Gas and Rodney), and Too Much (Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor).
Faarooq last eliminated Jeff Hardy to win a shot at the WWF Tag Team Championship at the 2000 Royal Rumble.

I don't rate battle royale's but this was proably the best one ever. It would be around ***.

Kurt Angle defeated Steve Blackman (6:56)
Angle pinned Blackman.

Crowd chanted boring but it really wasn't.

Miss Kitty defeated Ivory, Jacqueline, and B.B. (w/The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young as Special Guest Referees) in a Four Corners Evening Gown Pool match to win the WWF Women's Championship (2:45)
After the match Miss Kitty took off her dress and flashed the crowd in celebration.

Good match. Who'da thought?

Chris Jericho defeated Chyna (w/Miss Kitty) to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (10:17)
Jericho forced Chyna to submit with the Walls of Jericho.

Another good match. The crowd exploded when Jericho won.

The Rock 'n' Sock Connection (The Rock and Mankind) defeated WWF Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws (Mr. Ass and Road Dogg) by disqualification (16:28)
NAO were disqualified after Al Snow interfered, so the NAO retained the titles.

Big Show pinned Boss Man after a Chokeslam.

Wow. This is like the shortest WWF title match ever on PPV. Like anyone saw Bossman winning.

Triple H defeated Vince McMahon in a No Holds Barred Match (29:45)
Triple H pinned Vince after Stephanie McMahon turned on Vince and Triple H hit him with a sledgehammer.

WAY too long. I mean, a half hour for this?
