Cyber Suday 2007 Review

Can Taker and Batista's good match streak continue where they left off?

Rey Mysterio defeated Finlay in a Stretcher match (9:50)
Mysterio won after putting Finlay on the stretcher and pushing him across the line.
Voting results: Stretcher match, (40%), No Disqualification match (36%),
Shillelagh on a Pole match, (24%).

This was going nicely before the finish came.

CM Punk defeated The Miz to retain the ECW Championship (8:51)
Punk pinned Miz following a GTS
Voting results: The Miz (39%), John Morrison (33%), Big Daddy V (28%).

Not too bad, not too good. Better than it should have been.

Mr. Kennedy defeated Jeff Hardy (9:07)
Kennedy pinned Hardy after Hardy missed a Rope aided corner dropkick.

Just a random RAW match thrown on to take up time.

Kane defeated Montel Vontavious Porter by count-out. (6:40)
As a result of being counted out, MVP retained the WWE United States Championship
Voting results: Mark Henry (9%), The Great Khali (24%), Kane (67%).
Matt Hardy was supposed to be MVP's opponent, but was pulled from the match, due to a massive gash he sustained in a previous match.

Match was pretty bad.

Shawn Michaels defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton by disqualification (15:52)
Orton was disqualified after a low blow and as a result retained the WWE Championship.
Voting results: Shawn Michaels (59%), Mr. Kennedy (10%), Jeff Hardy (31%).

Nothing to write home about. Just your average HBK match.

Triple H defeated Umaga in a Street Fight (17:20)
Triple H pinned Umaga after a Sledgehammer shot and a Pedigree.
Voting results: Street Fight (57%), Steel Cage match (26%), First Blood match (17%).

Good, not great.

Mickie James won the Divas Halloween costume contest
The contestants: Maria, Mickie James, Melina, Jillian Hall, Brooke, Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly and Layla
Fans got to vote on the Diva's outfit they liked the most.

Batista defeated The Undertaker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship (w/ Special Guest Referee Steve Austin) (16:26)
Batista pinned Undertaker after two Batista Bombs
Voting results: Steve Austin (79%), Mick Foley (11%), John "Bradshaw" Layfield (10%).

Started off slow but then turned into what they had been doing all year (a good match).

Another average show from the WWE. This was better than Unforgiven because it actually had a few *** matches, but it was still not anything that I would go out of my way to see.
