• Booker T (w/Sharmell) defeated Chris Benoit (14:39)
o Booker pinned Benoit to take a 1-0 lead in their "Best of 7" match series for the vacant WWE United States Championship.
o ***
Not the classic these 2 had in WCW but still good.

• Trish Stratus (w/Mickie James) defeated Melina (w/Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro) to retain the WWE Women's Championship (6:30)
o Stratus pinned Melina with a modified top rope Stratusfaction after interference from Mickie James.

• Triple H defeated Ric Flair in a Last Man Standing match (27:01)
o Triple H won when Flair couldn't answer the 10 count after being hit with a sledgehammer.
o ***3/4
Close to last month's greatness

• "The Cutting Edge" segment: Edge and Lita interviewed Dmitri Young of the Detroit Tigers
o Young insulted Edge about his lack of a World Title (Less than a year later, the Detroit Tigers would make it all the way to the World Series and lose.).

• John Cena defeated Kurt Angle (w/Daivari as Special Guest Referee) to retain the WWE Championship (13:56)
o Cena pinned Angle after a F-U.
o Daivari, along with RAW referees Chad Patton and Mickie Henson, were knocked out during the match. SmackDown referee Charles Robinson came out to make the three count.
o **1/2
WWE title just hangin around the midcard. Too many ref bumps.

• Theodore Long (w/Palmer Cannon) defeated Eric Bischoff (5:23)
o Long pinned Bischoff after The Boogeyman hit Bischoff with a Pumphandle Slam.

Survivor: Randy Orton (Team SmackDown)
o The Undertaker returned following the main event, entering, in a casket carried by druids. The casket was struck by lightning after it was erected by the druids. Undertaker emerged from the flaming casket to attack several SmackDown superstars (Simon Dean, James Dick, Chad Dick, Funaki, Orlando Jordan, Brian Kendrick, Sylvan, Paul Burchill, and William Regal), who were standing in the ring. Randy Orton and his father Bob Orton escaped from being attacked.

God the announcing was annoying during this match. Tazz just started yelling at the RAW guys constantly. I was so hoping Smackdown would lose becuase of this. So if WWE wanted that then they got it.

~ Good main event and average to bad (or in the GM match, horrible) everything else.
