2002 Royal Rumble Review

Oh yeah...that HHH guy is back...

· Spike Dudley and Tazz defeated The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) (w/Stacy Keibler) to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship (5:06)
o Tazz forced D-Von to submit with the Tazzmission.

Nothing really here.

· William Regal defeated Edge to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (9:45)
o Regal pinned Edge after hitting him with brass knuckles.
o *3/4
Part 2 of this shit feud.

· Trish Stratus defeated Jazz (w/Jacqueline as Special Guest Referee) to retain the WWF Women's Championship (3:43)
o Trish pinned Jazz after a bulldog.
o ½*
Yawn.

· Ric Flair defeated Vince McMahon in a Street Fight (14:55)
o Flair forced McMahon to submit with the Figure Four Leglock.
o ***
Pretty good stuff from both senior citizens here.

· Chris Jericho defeated The Rock to retain the WWF Undisputed Championship (18:48)
o Jericho pinned The Rock after a low blow and a roll-up.
o ****
Another great match in their epic feud.

· Triple H won the 2002 Royal Rumble (1:09:22)
o The final two participants were Triple H and Kurt Angle. Angle gave Triple H a back drop over the top rope and assumed he won. However, Triple H hung on and came back into the ring to tip Angle out from behind to win the Rumble.
